You’ve obviously never been in a REAL kitchen.
Do or can you add cumin?
Hey person who wrote bout the stove bein messy and her sloppy…stfu!!! Ur
ignorant its called vooking stupid ass…it aint beniganas idiot…people

She has a new one now, thank you
Thank you for the nice comment! I’m glad you enjoyed it & happy it helped
you
This might taste delicious but your stove is disgusting looking and you are
very sloppy.
Thank you, glad it helped you!
Just like my mom makes it! I’ve been trying for years to do this but it
aways burns or it comes out mushy lol but I get it now there should still
be a little bit of water on top! Thank you and your mom for the recipe!
The brand is Knorr for the boullion cube.
Thanks so much. I tried your way and it came out great!
this is the way a very cool and beautiful past girlfriend (cindy r.) taught
me to make mexican rice and i’ve been making it this way ever since.
excellent vid that brought back memories of me learning.
There’s just something about cooking with old, lovingly used cookware on an
old stove. It tells a history of food and family. I LOVE your pots and
pans. The pots take me back to my mom’s cooking on the same cookware handed
down by my Abuelita. Although I already know how to make Arroz, this is so
much of a joy to watch, the way you instruct on how to make it. Please make
some more videos. And thank you for sharing with us.
You should make a video on how to make refried beans. No matter what I do
mine ALWAYS come out bland. Doesn’t matter if I use lard, onions, garlic,
vegtable oil, onions, or whatever any recipe calls for. It always comes out
bland and I can’t figure out why. It’s usually gray too.
Just wanted you to know that I finally (after years of watching people, and
listening to people on how to make good mexican rice) I finally ran across
your video. This rice comes out great! No matter what I have tried though
out the years, my rice would come out done in some parts, and stiff (not
done in others) Thanks for explaining why this happens. I will be making it
this way from now one. Thanks again!
Can you tell me what u used when u threw the cube of chicken or beef?
Thank you
you shuld buy ur mom a new stove .a great cook shuld hv a great stove!
thnks 4 the video
IT LOOKS DELICIOUS BUT IT WILL BE BETTER IF YOU USE REAL TOMATOES
Annoying voice
Sweet buttery jesus, 666 likes!
mine came out so good, thank u for this !!! :)
Loved the video…..Thanks for posting
You did a very good job!
this is what I wouldv’e have done:
I would have used tomato paste instead of tomato sauce ,wouldv’e sauted
corn w/ the rice salt, 1 diced jalapeno, more green pepper and onion, but
diced, and then at the end throw in sum diced tomatoe…I love
vegetables…
If you browned your rice more it would have a better flavor. And for those
who don’t want so much a tomato sauce flavor you can use 2 or 3 whole
tomatoes.
Thank you
Yum!
thats not mexican rice, real mexican rice doesnt use chicken broth and
dill…thats more like a bootleg mex rice .americanized mexican rice is
more like it
I grew up 2 with rice like this color always thankx for this vid looks
great
it looks ggod and easy i will try it thanks!!!
Hey Cyn, It came out, Ka,Ka,KaaaPow… “BOMB!!!!”, Just like how my Nana
used to make it!!! Thanks for taking me back in the day. ” And, how bout
them Cowboys!” I’m from AZ, home of the Cardinals…they’re awiight, I
guess? But I grew up wearing Cowboy jerseys! As a matter of fact, I’ll be
wearing my #88 Micheal “The Playmaker” Irvin jersey( my Billy Bates jersey
is too faded) for our annual “Turkey Bowl” football game! Thanks again, and
your lil’ family is cute by the way. I watched your little video while my
rice was on the slow simmer. Do you have a video on making mole’ (red
chili) with pollo?
“Jesse M.”
I really like the addition of the peppers and sliced onions. It looks
really flavorful. However, the rice looked a little watery, like all of
the liquid had not evaporated. Did you let it sit for a little while?
When you have children who say they don’t like onions or green peppers,
they do like the flavor, just not biting on them, and by cutting them a bit
bigger, you can leave them off their plate. Delicious recipe, thanks for
sharing.
very easy im gonna try it for my sons birthday party THANKS
I love your rice
Wow thanks it truly helped
I followed the steps and the rice came out good, thanks.
Wow that easy to make
I made it the taste was yummy but some parts were moist and some were not
cooked maybe I should of put it on shimmer for more that 15 min?
Great recipe I’m having it tonight…Thanks will comment on how it came
out. I tried another recipe similar to this one and it was good but that
one involved using a blender which I think over processed the vegetables a
bit to much for my liking.
I love it. Thanks for sharing. Curtis veryone has different cooking style.
Why dont you make a video?
My bad, I was reading some of the posts you had below and saw someone asked
you the same question I did, 1 cup right? Still waiting on mine to
simmer…..
Hey Cyn, I’m going along with your video right now. The only thing was, I
didn’t know how much rice to put in my pan? I’m serving for 4. Get back to
you to let you know how it came out.
