Hi Stephanie, thanks for your nice recipe.
I have tried to make one but it turned out no good. I baked the cake at
150c as my oven seems too hot with my previous experience. The cake
appeared very nice after baking. But the whole cake fell down completely
not long after it was inverted upside down for cooling. My tube pan is not
non-stick one and the cake base appeared a bit concave?
I’ve been successful with your other chiffon recipes but not this one!
Any reasons for that and any solutions.Please reply.

The only thing is that I would like it slightly less sweet, so if I cut the
sugar a bit, do I have to substitute that amount with cake flour or that is
not necessary? Also, if I were to add chopped walnuts to this recipe, would
it stop the cake in any way from rising so beautifully? Thanks again!

Wow, this looks amazing. I am in the kitchen right now TRYING but it doesnt
look like urs at all. I just took a peep inside the oven. I added a little
milk as I didnt add enough orange juice, would this damage the recipe?

If I want to make a lemon chiffon cake instead, pure lemon juice is really
sour compared to oranges, how many cups do I need of lemon juice instead of
orange juice, if that’s all I’m substituting?

It is a Kenwood Titanium Chef KM010. In North America it is a KMC010.
What is the brand and model of the mixer you are using? I would be
interested in getting one like that as my KitchenAid just gave up the ghost
after 20 years.
Not sure about that. The problem with using a non stick pan is that you
really can’t turn the pan upside down for cooling, as the cake will
probably fall out.
Hi Stephanie, i have only a non stick pan but i have all the ingredients at
home already. Can i still use the pan but let’s say line the side and the
bottom with paperliner?
