this is hilarious….
It’s well known that prolonged high-protein diets can seriously damage your
kidneys. Anyway, I thought this doc was pretty sloppy and lazy with it’s
interpretations of the relayed data and made up for it with snazzy jump
cuts. Bad doc, BBC! Bad doc!
Moderation of carbs, fats, and protein should be key.
But does anyone want to look like Dr Atkins? Really? Is that your picture
of health, fitness and vitality?

It’s common knowledge that protein makes you feel full causing you to eat
less. I think there’s more to the success of the low carb diet.
Facts trumps science. If people lose weight, there is definitely something
going on. Maybe people just eat less / satiation is reached earlier with a
steak than with a bowl of pasta.

are eating. Keep it balanced. Mostly veggies with small amounts of animal

obviously they were eating more calories to satisfy their appetite, because
look at what they were eating? Carbohydrates ffs!!! If they ate eggs or
meat with the fat, they would eat way less.

What is this music as if it was about space aliens atacking the earth and
kidnapping infants? This is a fucking diet for christ sake. (which actually
works.)
The comments about low carb dieting are full of bad information. A low
carb high fat diet is not lacking in nutrients. We eat more veggies (our
carbs) than the normal diet filled with rice, potatoes, wheat, vegetable
oils, etc. I eat a diet with no added sugar or grains. I guarantee that
my diet is healthier than the average American any day. I don’t eat high
protein. I eat what’s adequate for my body. I do eat more healthy fats –
grass fed butter, olive oil, and coconut oil.
At 38 minutes, a study was done where the scientists tested wether fat or
protein gave the feeling satiety (feeling of fullness). The major problem
with this study is that when you eat food with less fat or low amounts of
fat it tastes like cardboard. Hence people on the high protein diet ate
less, as the food was less tasty. Taste should have been a common factor in
both diets. Numerous lectures, seminars and documentaries claim that when
fat is removed from food to make it low fat, sugar is added to make it
taste better so people will eat it. In conclusion this study is flawed.
Well governments fed us foods to make us fat,then sell us crap to make us
thin!! Try studying EVOLUTION!!!! Our bodies aren’t designed to consume all
the processed carbs etc! And by the way the Masai Mara live on meat,milk
and blood mixed together ( no I wouldn’t either) and have a ripe old age
with no more than normal health problems?! Innuits live on seals f.f.s!!!

obesity, gout, diabetes is not fat, but insulin. Carbs is the killer.

I want to know where this idea of fat being a contributor to Heart disease
came from, because it has never been proven!
It’s simple were the weight was going. Protein becomes muscle and the more
muscle you have the more energy you burn. i’m fifty and i’ve never dieted
and i mainly eat protien
My coworkers laughed when I told them I would lose weight with Fat Blast

Elliott, it would be cool if u put like a long rope in your gym, attached
from the floor to your wall and made yourself climb up and down

I decided 3 days ago to make my own 30 day bootcamp where I do the things I
wanted to do, but never had the discipline to do. It’s pretty much just a
goal made more fancy, but it helps. Day 3 and I’m meditating, stretching
and training daily as well as maintaining a calorie surplus, which, as an
ectomorph, I found challenging before. Thanks for this video, hoping the
discipline I develop after that 90 days helps with other things like you
said

This is very Zen. With the focus on just 3 days (which is closer to the
present then 90 days) it makes a task that once seemed hard, easier,
because the time frame is shorter. Instead of not doing something for 90
days, don’t do it today. When you wake up tomorrow, don’t do it then
either, etc. We practice this in martial arts all the time when you are
changing the structure of your body and mind
Good advice as always. Create a plan with a “rep range” insight so you get
there and keep the mind fresh. I do what he told the kid that was there to
do when lifting, If I’m go for 10 reps I count to 3 and keep doing that
until I hit 9 and do ONE MORE.

WOW You just shared advise that almost any therapist would give you. I was
big in to heroin and In the world of adiction we take it one day at a time
and say Just for Today. It’s all about breaking the barrier between the
physical habbit and the mental experience. I agree with the practice you
just talked about (rule of 3″s) there are many ways to trick your brain and
your psyche.
I seem to always catch an asthma attack whenever I eat or drink something
that contains more than a small amount of sugar in it. Seeing as how I
liked breathing more than Twinkies; I stopped, and eventually years passed
by and I have almost no urge to eat snack cakes and such… however that is
partly because I simply can’t remember the taste of chocolate anymore…
The rest is sheer willpower to stop eating fried foods etc

the problem is, that there’s a difference between -I lack self discipline
and can’t control eating – AND -I tried, forced, ruined my body with
control and this is its form of repression – either bulimia, or anorexia,
etc. In my opinion, there’s a vast gap that separates lack of character
virtues from over-development of some, which have caused a serious mental
illness. It’s not only my point of view, also based on what I read and I am
not saying that he has got eating disorder, but if yes, I believe he needs
different kind of approach, than what Elliott used as a healthy person who
likes to eat. I can’t get up in the morning (discipline discipline,..) I
can’t stop smoking (addiction, but discipline required) I am falling into
bulimia (this ain’t f***** cigarettes or laziness, this is life threatening
illness)
