This is so good. I make it every week and eat it for lunch and add into my
salads. Delish!
Using organic corn will help. As for the rest, yes, there is the phytic
acid issue,but you can always make the beans from scratch, soaking them
first to help reduce phytic acid. I hope this helps and thanks so much for

Hi Barbara, I’m a huge fan and am addicted to your channel! This salad
looks so delicious, I can’t wait to make it. Something I’m just wondering
about is do you believe much in the paleo diet? Some of the ingredients in
this salad would be banned under the paleo diet. Black beans and chickpeas,
being legumes with the anti-nutrient phytic acid and lectins, and corn
being genetically modified. Regardless, I’m still making this salad with
the grilled fish.

what or when we eat.
Looks really good even though the title, 3 Bean Salad is a big misnomer and
it’s only 2bean. Haha, however I love to cook and know what it all means in
relationship to what we make. Specifically looked for 3 bean salad with
green beans, light kidney beans and garbanzos cuz that’s what I have in the
house now. But opening up my horizons as you have with all those other
ingredients makes me realize I have lots of veggies in the frig and freezer
to expand on 3 bean and make enough for all week.
