Yet another one of my favorite slow cooker recipes! This Healthy Slow Cooked Chicken Stew recipe is not only easy to make but ABSOLUTELY delicious AND health…
Looks so good but don’t you like onions, would add a little more flavor,
this is what I am making tonight for my daughter. Thanks for the video
I made this today, it was really good, though next time i think i’ll do
twuce the amount of dumplings.
Looks delicious.! Thanks so much I love Chicken and Dumplings :)
I tried your recipe & it worked!
This is very similar to my recipe, but I use cream of chicken soup with the
broth. Gives it kind of a pot pie feel. SO yummy!
That’s exactly what I’m fixing tonight Jamie. Thank you so much for kindly
bye now
sharing. It really does look delicious. And, there’s nothing better than a
man in the kitchen.
I made this the other day, I may have to make it again. O:) I too throw the
herbs in towards the end – it saves their bright flavor…
What formed the basis of your bowl of dumplings? If I had to guess, I
would say a cup of all purpose flour and a teaspoon of salt. But my momma
raised me to use self-rising flour.
I really mean no offense to you and I really like your video. I hope you
will forgive my plainspokenness and accept my compliments in the spirit in
which they have been offered.
Sorry if I offended you. I’m a big fag and I love cooking. you got close
to the counter and I could see your big, beautiful bulge and it distracted
me from your food. I think your recipe will be delicious and I can’t wait
to cook it for my family.
When you got to your dumplings you left out a crucial piece of information.
you added a spoon of baking powder, but to what? I assume it was to an
{amount of} all-purpose flour, but you didn’t say. I’m trying to follow
along exactly, ignoring your nice ‘package’ but I don’t know what started
your bowl of dumplings. I think your recipe will be awesome, but some info
is missing from your video and I can’t wait to try it (with all the
ingredients), and I really wish I could see your package out of its
wrapper. But that is beside the point. This recipe looks easy and
delicious!
It looks delicious.
Dang! Dude! Do you work for UPS coz’ you’ve got a serious Package! Lol
I’m just teasing, but your recipe looks good, not as good as your
package!
It does make me happy to hear that your family loved it!
My great grandmother and my grandmother both used to make flour dumplings
like these in some soup. They both have passed away, and I never learned
how to make them. So thank you for this video, because now I can learn how
to make them, too. I do have a question though. How do you know when to
turn the dumplings over? And how do you know when they’re done?
It was delicious. The whole family just loved it. Thanks again.
After they start to puff up I turn them over. Then when they start to get
heavy and sink a little they should be done. But cut a big one and see if
it is doughy. If not they are done.
I’m Asian so when I hear dumpling, I expect meat or some filling inside.
Good recipe, I will try this today.
This looks perfect. I’ve got a leftover rotisserie chicken from last night,
cut up and ready to rock. Loved your soothing voice throughout the video,
as well. Thank you for the recipe! -Lisa
Thank you for watching, I do hope you enjoy the recipe.
It is funny how the same word can mean different things depending upon
where you are from. A lot of the dumplings where I am from are more like
wide noodles. Then like you said in most places I went in Asia they had
something inside. Lucky for me I love them all.
We’re all about real meals! Yummy, thanks for the recipe.
Your welcome
It was good!
Man that looks good. Sure hope you enjoyed it.
#slowcooker #chickenstew #slowcookedchicken
you look healthy but ur a sted head
Eating this right now. I live in Thailand so good western food is hard to
come by. This is amazing! So delicious! I’ll be making this quite often
and sharing it with all my western friends here. You rock man!
I just made this following your ingredient list. The soup base is
fantastic! great advice man
More slow cooked meals please! Can’t believe it took me so long to find
your channel, great content, nice editing, excellent recipes! Thank you.
Thanks for this! Adding this to my meal choices. Simple and looks great!
wow looks really good. Your channel keeps me motivated haha nice vid
Wow is all I can say
I want to be Beefcake’s cameraman. I would get different angles…..mostly
butt shots. What? You know you’d love it! Sigh………. I’m going to try
this recipe. Maybe, I’ll buy a brown apron……? I dunno…. Sigh…..Hey!
Beefcake, you should Watch Hilah Cooking on You Tube. She’s fun like
you…..
I weight the recipe and then evenly portion it out into rubbermaid
containers. You can also eye it (it’s not going to matter as long as you
eat the whole recipe, you’ll still be eating all of the calories). Yes, you
can!
I’m going to try this everything for slow cook that is on your playlist
I’ve made and every thing taste amazing. Questions for you tho. 1). How do
i properly distribute my proportions out. I’m finding it very tough. 2).
Can you slow cook fish instead of chicken? Just wondering.
If you check my playlists I definitely have a bunch of lower sodium
recipes. I mention though, in recipes like these you can probably find
lower sodium alternatives to some of the ingredients which will drastically
cut down the total!
Hope you liked it!
Sounds good! I’ll definitely do that from now on. Thanks for the suggestion
and the support!
Looks great!
Looks amazing man, love your videos so much
And strong squat at the end
Batatoes
Sounds good. Im gonna try this today.
it was good and very filling, but I think I’m going to exclusively use
russet potatoes the next time. I can’t get used to the taste of sweet
potatoes
Are the mushrooms overpowering in this recipe?
Thank you
This looks delicious, however I’m on a very low sodium diet. Do you have
any recipes that are designed for very low sodium diets? I have to keep
mine to about 1500 mg a day!! I’ve all but cut salt out of my diet, but
want options! Thanks!!
I’ve had a couple recipes come out bland (from forgetting a few key
ingredients)…I get more upset about the wasted time than messing up the
recipe. I guess I should stop saying I like it because obviously if I’m
putting it up here I like it and rather talk more about the flavors/recipe
itself/volume and so on. Sorry if that gets annoying!
Quick question! In the video, you said to cook for 4-5 hours on high, but
in the description box below, you wrote to cook 4-5 hours on low. Which one
is right? Oh, and your videos rock, keep them coming!
Haha! That’s wonderful you created your own. Should have mentioned that in
the video since it’s fairly easy. Thank you btw!
