Sorry I like onion in my chicken salad and about 1 tablespoon of honey,
too.
Oh my god!! Everyone ! I recommend this it’s sooo delicious thank you very
very much for sharing:-D
this looks so delicious!
Oh my God………Little baby Jesus with Chocolate syrup…….that looks
absolutely positively Delicious. THIS REALLY gets my bowels moving, and
ready for the snow patrol. You are an absolute gem of a woman and goddess
of a cook. My basement is going HAYWIRE..
I know the next thing im going to make lol
Wow Kat, you look great! you, Dave and I need to get together again
sometime. oh and by the way, it is me Bill. Nice chicken salad as well, you
have always been an amazing cook, well done.
There’s too much “stuff” in the chicken salad for me.
We are using your video in our classes for adults with disabilities. Watch
the video…you are a good, clear speaker and you don’t time elapse the
process…then go to the kitchen. So far, 6 excellent salads and many more
to go! Love the idea of rotisseire chicken because I know it’s cooked all
the way through and has a good taste to start with. Thanks!
the queen of quick, haha, good stuff !
Thanks for your insight. However, I feel it only proper to make you aware
that while correcting her grammatical error, you spelled “saying”
wrong….. Kinda wish we had a live grammer check when we’re filming a
show….
Oh my goodness!! What an HONOR! Thank you SO much for sharing this video
with those precious people! I like to keep things simple, easy, and want to
share that process with others. No need to make it too complex because
people don’t always like that. Thank you SO much for responding! I
appreciate that more than you know!
I always use Kraft. My producer/hubby, Dave, loves Kraft and nothing else.
So…that’s what I use!
Why freeze it? Just buy it and make the salad when its nice amd warm taste
nasty when u warm it up better fresh!
I’m getting the stuff tomorrow to make it, I can’t wait lol.
i will make that also! yummy!
You are going to post a comment because I forgot a simple letter, but yet
you respond with “I feel it only proper”?… Even your response has
grammatical errors. It was a simple mistake I was pointing out. No need for
a response trying to out do me. We all live and learn.
This looks soo goood hopefully mine comes out that good what brand of
manaiyse? Did u use?
Oh it is! Have you tried making it yet? -dave (Kat’s husband)
Darn right! FAST AND EASY! Being a mom of 2 (one with special needs) I
have to be quick in whatever I do in the kitchen. I always try to find the
fast way to do things…and then, there are times that you just have to
take your time to make a really good dish. But, with a Rotisserie chicken,
you can make ANYTHING with it! OMG, I think I’m gonna have to try to make
chicken & dumplin’s!!
Wow she’s skilled with that knife! Looks good thanks for showing us your
recipe ..
Hey Bill! So glad you liked the recipe!
Well you need to make it!! It’s SO good!
That looks like the best damn chicken salad ever lol. I wanna eat it
through the screen.
That’s the GREAT thing about chicken salad! Add as much or as little as you
like!! My MIL makes it with just chicken. Nothing else. I love it!! I’ve
had it with tons of stuff in it, and then, nothing at all but chicken. You
make it how you love it and stick to it! But it’s always good to branch out
and try new things! You never know what might POP!
But I have to admit. It looks delicious!
At the beginning I thought ‘Nooo, more garlic!’ But you fixed that nicely.
Looks great, making this soon!
Awesome video! Youre going to be known as the chef who invented garlic-
shallot puree!:)
this is crazy! chicken salad should be easy!
I miss my mom’s chicken salad! I’ll have to make some in her memory!!
More cooking vids please !!!
Thanks!! Yum!!!!
Love the presentation.
Sugar was like “Less talking, more cooking! I wants my chicken salad!”
damn, I don’t live in the states, can’t get that free bottle of wine
That looks good.
You’re more likely to cut yourself if your knife is dull
That garlic shallot puree goes well with everything
Yum!
Bravo, Jason ! Superb video. This one had it all. I especially liked the
camera-work; close-up food shots. I like that you mentioned just finely
cutting the chicken. I don’t know when SHREDDED chicken is ever a good
thing…It might be tolerable in enchiladas or something. For me an
important part of working with the avocado in its shell is to use a butter
knife for safety’s sake. Or I just slice/dice the halved avocado on a
cutting board. I would love to see more videos like this. Thank you.
Great video Chef, nice clean flavors!
I wouldn’t salt the storebought mayo, it typically comes with a ton of salt
in it already.
I love chicken salad sandwiches
I agree with you–cut the avocado on the board. It might not be as elegant
for the camera, but that’s the safe way. Whether the knife is dull or
sharp, there is always the danger of slicing through the avocado skin, thus
cutting oneself
i was always afraid to cut my hand doing this but i feel if you have a
sharp knife you’ll be fine.
Got any alternatives to using mayonnaise? And not to be a grammar cop, but
the correct syntax is “bound.” =P
amazing
Chef, don’t hold the avocado when you slice it, I actually cut my hand like
that and had to get 3 stitches. It hurts me every time I see you do it
There’s no way I’d ever find mesclun greens where I live. I guess if I try
this, I’ll have to substitute it with something. But I also kinda dislike
mayonnaise so I’m not sure if it’s worth it…
you must make recipe video for poor people who dont have those stuff. we
poor people have only spoons and microwave oven function, frying pan, pot.
we poor people can buy only cheap common ingredients that we can buy at
market on street.
Nice!(:
