I dashed to the store this morning to get a few ingredients for this
recipe. A few more questions struck me. 1) Could I warm the tortillas in a
microwave instead of using the oil, or is there some other reason for
heating them in oil? 2) Would the flavor be adversely affected by using
diced tomatoes from a can that have had the juice drained? We thought we
might also use the sauce on nachos or on a bed of rice with some chicken. I
thick I’ll just make a pot of this sauce, it sounds so good!
