this is just awful! he treated that whisky as if it were coke
Correction .. the irish coffee originated from foynes terminal airport in
county limerick .. nicely made irish coffees though
If available, buy fresh locally roasted coffee beans – that’s what David
likes to use. As for strength, try what you normally use for just a cup a
coffee. If that doesn’t taste right to you, adjust accordingly. I tried
David’s recipe at home with the beans I buy at the market, brewed it as I
do everyday, and it was awesome!
Hi there, I was wondering if you could recommend what strength coffee to
use for this drink? I don’t have much experience when it comes to buying
coffee beans, ground or whole. I currently use a Tassimo for my hot drinks
(I can almost hear all the coffee lovers here reading this gasping lol).
Thanks
Sláinte!
glad you liked it – it was!! hope you have a chance to make one yourself.
=)
wonderful reference
That’s a powerfull drink!!
i read on a website from the UK that true irishmen never use whip cream
that is a “sin”
yes – Sláinte! =)
aww, that is so sweet you made one for her when she needed something to
take her mind off of work. =) Have an excellent New Year!
My wife had a particularly bad day at the office, so I surprised her with
this. She loved it! Going to make it for her family when they come out to
visit us this weekend. With all the snow it’s the perfect weather for a
stiff, hot drink like this. Again, thank you so much!
Looks fantastic. I love Irish Coffee. This however looks like way too much
work for 2 Irish Coffees. At the Bar I go to I’ve watched the Bartender
make an Irish Coffee and here’s how he does it. 1- oz Jameson 1 tsb brown
suger Regular Coffee from the Pot at the Bar, I guess 8-10oz. Standard
Whipped Crème from Refrigerator. It’s pretty good. I’m sure it’s nowhere
near as good at this here, but it’s fast and that’s necessary when the Bar
is busy.
Great job. Thanks. I’ll visit your place when it’s open.
This looks awesome. Thank you!
