Thank you for this recipe, my favorite dressing is caesar but I have never
saw a recipe on how to make your own and at the store you can never buy a
big container of it like you can with ranch. I will be doing this for sure.

Yes, you can easily use the mayo instead of the egg, the mayo is just egg
an oil anyway. As for the Anchovy paste, I always have it on hand, hidden
in the back of a drawer in the fridge. You really need it for this
dressing. Just like when you add fish sauce to Thai foods, there is just
something missing without it. My kids think the idea of it is gross, but I
add it to other things too, like my easy clam sauce. Simply delicious!

it around here because the hubbers loves ‘em. I’m the one who can’t eat
them whole. But you’re so right… it is just like fish sauce in Thai food.
Without it, something is missing. And it’s usually the ones who say they’d
never touch the stuff that complain about the flavor if it IS left out. LOL

to make my own.

needs chicken, croutons, pancetta, maybe a few more anchovies… then I’d
add (sliced) cucumber, sliced cherry tomatoes and possibly some pine nuts.
But yeah, as a simple caesar salad, this looks good, if not a bit mundane.
