I made the cake but it got a bit frozen when I kept in the fridge for 15
min any tips
1. Mix butter and condensed milk first
2. Add Vanilla Extract or any other extract
3. Mix all purpose flour + Baking Soda + Baking Powder
4. The mixture of step 3 into main batter
5. Add milk slowly while mixing
6. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 F
Can I use plain milk or evaporated milk instead of condensed milk?

Hi bhavna… I tried making vanilla cake this way …. Unfortunately it got
crumbled… it was dry…. I often make cakes with oil and yogurt… and I
used to make with cream in india … but such things never happened… will
you please guide me that what went wrong and how can I make moist and
unbroken cake with condensed milk and butter?!!! Actually I am planning to
make on my child’s b’day next week.. so please suggest. Thanx.
Hi Bhavna The mixture curdled when I added the vanilla, vinegar sugar and
milk. I did warm up the milk to room temperature as advised. Can you tell
me why this is. I did however continue with the recipe and added flour
etc. and baked it. It turned out fine except it was only an inch deep!!
Also what are the measurements in ounces – I live in the UK and we dont
really use cups. thanks

Hi bhavna…I tried the sponge cake recipe and it came our really well. But
there was a lil after taste of the soda in the cake. For 1 cup maida I used
1/2 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp baking powder. Kindly let me know the exact
measurement of baking soda. Thank you.

Please watch my lime cake as well. Yes, juice also needs to be at room
temperature. No need to add corn starch.
hi Bhavana, i love your recipe. If i wanted to use orange juice instead of
milk should i just leave juice out to room temperature. and can i add corn
starch if i have any to the mix.

microwave oven with out keeping any thing inside it so while pre heating
also we should have to keep anything inside microwave?

Hi can i use electric oven for bake
Condensed milk is used to increase the milk proteins and volume without
making the batter liquidy! The other reasons are ofcourse less requirement
for using sugar seperately!

kiya danda karne ke baad
To cake bich me se kacha tha and mere oven me preheat nhi hai so maine 180
par 20-25 min coom kiya tha.
So pl bataye ki aise situation me kya karna chaiye

my cake is fully damage , I put may cake batter only for 30 minutes in
convection mode at 190 degree temp but my cake’s upper part is fully burn
whereas lower part is not bake, give me reason why happen it with my cake.
And also tell me what mean 1 cup all purpose flour, what size of 1 cup,
tell actual quantity of Flour i.e 100 gm, 200 gm…………
Do you know what a CONVECTION microwave is? Because I’ve never had one, but
when I googled it and read a little bit about it, you DO PREHEAT a
CONVECTION microwave when using the CONVECTION mode (for baking instead of
standard microwave setting usually used for heating things–standard
microwaves are not usually used for baking at all).
