  1. You think man can destroy the planet? What intoxicating vanity. Let me tell you about our planet. Earth is four-and-a-half-billion-years-old. There's been life on it for nearly that long, 3.8 billion years. Bacteria first; later the first multicellular life, then the first complex creatures in the sea, on the land. Then finally the great sweeping ages of animals, the amphibians, the dinosaurs, at last the mammals, each one enduring millions on millions of years, great dynasties of creatures rising, flourishing, dying away — all this against a background of continuous and violent upheaval. Mountain ranges thrust up, eroded away, cometary impacts, volcano eruptions, oceans rising and falling, whole continents moving, an endless, constant, violent change, colliding, buckling to make mountains over millions of years. Earth has survived everything in its time. It will certainly survive us. If all the nuclear weapons in the world went off at once and all the plants, all the animals died and the earth was sizzling hot for a hundred thousand years, life would survive, somewhere: under the soil, frozen in Arctic ice. Sooner or later, when the planet was no longer inhospitable, life would spread again. The evolutionary process would begin again. It might take a few billion years for life to regain its present variety. Of course, it would be very different from what it is now, but the earth would survive our folly, only we would not. If the ozone layer gets thinner, ultraviolet radiation sears the earth, so what? Ultraviolet radiation is good for life. It's powerful energy. It promotes mutation, change. Many forms of life will thrive with more UV radiation. Many others will die out. Do you think this is the first time that's happened? Think about oxygen. Necessary for life now, but oxygen is actually a metabolic poison, a corrosive glass, like fluorine. When oxygen was first produced as a waste product by certain plant cells some three billion years ago, it created a crisis for all other life on earth. Those plants were polluting the environment, exhaling a lethal gas. Earth eventually had an atmosphere incompatible with life. Nevertheless, life on earth took care of itself. In the thinking of the human being a hundred years is a long time. A hundred years ago we didn't have cars, airplanes, computers or vaccines. It was a whole different world, but to the earth, a hundred years is nothing. A million years is nothing. This planet lives and breathes on a much vaster scale. We can't imagine its slow and powerful rhythms, and we haven't got the humility to try. We've been residents here for the blink of an eye. If we're gone tomorrow, the earth will not miss us.

  2. Fun FACT your veggie burger creates MORE of a carbon footprint than my venison EVER could!!! The amount of land used alone is HUGE and once you factor in man hours resources etc its ridiculous and doesn't come near my humanely sourced meat!!! So try again lol climate alarmists!!!
Oh and for those who can't grasp WHY people are pushing this nonsense to begin with…4 BILLION is spent DAILY on green energy and climate change BULLBUTTER and the fact that ALLL of the experts live in MILLION dollar homes that use up YEARS WORTH of ELECTRICITY EACH MONTH SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THEIR*PASSION*……well that AND their private JETS!!!! Seriously its the single largest fraud in modern history and people really need to STOP funding it!!!

  3. hear them talking you may think earth is on danger and eating too much meat is causing it to escape sun's gravitation

  4. whats is this, CNN? globe warming is a hoax.
you cant count on any media now to tell the truth
how about show a record cold October in northeast

  5. Less meat?
I canโ€™t live without beef and pork.
2lbs of bacon and or sausage every morning and steak or pork chops for dinner.
Oh and fuck climate change. That ridiculous stupid liberal hoax.
Eat more meat. Much more meat people.

  6. Bjorn is wrong on the climate, because there is no problem at all with the climate "no warming since 1996" and if there were a problem we could not do anything about it either, that is just nonsense and canutist bs. And CO2 does not effect world temperature at all either ZERO. Only mad eco loons believe we should stop eating meat, idiots.

  7. Dont know about the planet but the cows, pigs and chickens sure like that. Eat a tomato or potato will be the new rally cry.

  8. I'm sick and tired of these climate change idiots with there fake science. And fox business who the hell decided this crap segment even deserved 1 second of air time.

  9. Not going to have to worry about the temperature of the planet because we are going to wipe ourselves out with stupidity before that ever happens. And when people say "save the planet", they mean 'save the people' because this planet will be just fine without us. We wouldn't be the first light on the xmas strand to blink out one day.

  10. Oh I don't know.. I "emit" way more after eating raw leafy greens. Everyone does. Everybody's heard of Broccoli farts; ever hear of a t-bone or porterhouse fart, a burger fart or a nugget toot?

  11. Ending back yard breeding welfare programs will do a lot of good. Same with not sending beans and rice aid to countries that can't support the citizens they already have will help EARTH…………………….

  12. Indo euro's don't have enough kids we must import people who over populate to fix global warming as over populating doesn't create more pollution lol.

  13. Depopulating the earth would save it also. Lets start with Africa, then India, china, South America… don't stop…believing.

  14. We should totally eat less meat from now on due to the stupid, horrible, pointless, disastrous and out of control obesity epidemic in America and I blamed the stupid food industry for making too many countries fat.

  15. Don't know about climate change?? but it might make one healthier and extend their life a little longer to replace meat with fruits vegetables and other sources of protein. Carbon dioxide is good for plants and plants are a good source of oxygen and humans need oxygen to breath.

  16. Have to stop driving so much
Use your feet and walk to the store with a shopping cart to get your groceries
Take public transportation instead of driving
    Cut out your vacations
    Turn your lighting down
    Use 1 television
    The list goes on

  17. What is the Greatest threat to the worlds Environment?… It Aint Beef…..Its waaay too many Progs and their favored groups that breed like Rats….STOP HAVING SO MANY CHILDREN….Or better yet…Show your solidarity and do a Bourdain …en mass…..

  18. Wow a vegetarian who bashes the meat – climate change connection.
    That's a first.
Makes me question that stuff even more than before. The vegans and vegetarians can't stick to their usual claim and say the guy is biased, because he's one of them and he still bashes the connection between meat and climate change. You know it's bad for you when that happens.

  19. Changing my diet based on what climate researchers say?!?!
This would be like altering my exercise routine based on advice from my hair stylist.
