I will demonstrate how to cook pancit guisado here are the ingredients that we will be needing to cook pancit guisado first and foremost, we’ll need rice sticks then we will need pork next is the chicken. This has been boiled it weights around half a pound the chicken has been shredded so that we can easily cook it later with the pork for the vegetables, we’ll need snow peas we need around 1/8 lbs. next we need some carrots and then cabbage next is celery (this should have been parsley, but I cannot find one today) either will work though one medium onion 1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic next for our seasoning, this is chicken bouillon and 5 tablespoons of soy sauce let’s start to cook pancit guisado pour the oil in this cooking pot well use oil to saute the garlic and onion add the garlic now the garlic starts to get brown add the onion add the shredded chicken and sliced pork I will add the pork fist here is the chicken this needs to be stir fried add the chicken bouillon to enhance the flavor you can use chicken broth as an alterntive add 3 cups of water there goes the water… let the liquid boil. cover and continue to boil for 15 to 20 mins. Add more water if needed now that the meats are tender, time to add the veggies the vegetables that takes the longest time to cook should be added first start with the carrots and snow peas add the cabbage lastly, add the celery smells good do not overcook the vegetables once the veggies are done, remove everything from the cooking pot except the liquid add the soy sauce you can add salt only if necessary I will not add salt since soy sauce is already salty add some oyster sauce give it a stir now we can add the noodles the rice sticks needs to be soaked in water first before adding it here luke warm water is needed and 10 minutes should be enough time to soak it here is how it looks like after, the noodles becomes soft put the noodles in the cooking pot toss put the veggies and meat back in here is our pancit bihon guisado Thank you!
