hey babies welcome back to my channel
if you guys are new around here, my name is Adrianna, if you guys watched my previous video of the “in a day of my life” thrift shopping with me / try on haul video
I mentioned that in one of my Korean study books I found this very detailed
kimchi fried rice recipe which is what I’ll be using today to follow the
instructions and attempt to make my first time ever making kimchi fried rice so I am just gonna say that I am missing
sesame seeds which is a part of this recipe but I don’t really think that me
not having that is really gonna make a difference as far as the flavor itself
so we’re just gonna go ahead and start the video if you guys like it please

go ahead and get started so right here inside my sink I have this pot which is
filled with two cups of rice and I like to wash my rice I don’t know if everyone
does it I feel like they should because there could be like you know dirt or
rocks or whatever inside of your rice so I like to wash it and I wash my rice
about two or three times so I’m gonna go ahead and do that first So once your rice is all cooked up the
instructions say that you will also need a half an onion so I have that right
here the whole clove of garlic one or two tablespoons of gochujang you also
need soy sauce 2 teaspoons of sugar you’ll need juice from the kimchi jar
which I don’t have an actual kimchi jar I was gifted this whole container of
kimchi which as you guys can tell I have really been loving but there is still
some juice in there so I’ll be using that you’ll also need 2 eggs a teaspoon
of sesame oil some oil for frying so like vegetable oil olive oil and for
garnishes it also says that you can put it sesame seeds or green onions I don’t
have any sesame seeds or green onions but the kimchi that I was given has
green onions in it so I’ll just be eating that anyways with the rice ok so
I’m gonna be using these 2 bowls to separate all of the ingredients it does
say that I have two chop up one cup of physical kimchi so I’m going to do that
right now that’s gonna be another dish that I’m gonna attempt to make some day
is like actual kimchi because this stuff is amazing okay so once that’s all done I’m going
to pour it in here Okay so i’m going to wash this off and I’ll be back to cut the onion
and the garlic my eyes are watering next we have to make the egg sunny-side
up I honestly don’t know how to make sunny-side up eggs because I usually eat
my eggs scrambled so I’m hoping that these are at least edible but one of
them for sure is not okay if I can show you this one is not okay
the other one is really cute though okay so here’s my eggs. as you guys can
tell this is the one that I said was really messed up but I think this is
what a sunny-side egg is supposed to look like I really don’t know but it’s
so cute the rice is ready now so the next thing I’m going to do is use
another tablespoon of the olive oil to fry up my onions and garlic everything
is starting to smell so good I really hope that it tastes as good as it smells so now that that is all cooked down I’m gonna go ahead and add in the kimchi , the
instructions * say to fry it all together for about two to three minutes there are honestly a few quite large
pizzas so I wasn’t able to cut it that well sadly but I think it’ll
still be good trying to see how much rice I want to
put okay so all that is now mixed together and
I think it’s time to plate okay babies so this is the finished product what do
we think? I think it turned out really well and look at my perfect little egg
it’s not spilling yet let me try it, this is my first time ever having like a runny egg, a
sunny-side up egg I think you’re supposed to pop this I think you’re
supposed to pop it first and then like mix it all up together that’s so is so pleasing Wow okay and
then mix it together and I did put whole pieces of kimchi in here too because I
like kimchi and you can never have too much honestly try to get a piece of
everything are we ready? that’s like a big bite, okay 1 2 3 Wow you guys I’m proud of myself I am so proud of myself I’m so surprised
like it’s actually good mmm one more one more and then I’ll do the
ending I’m just so hungry that is so good babies um I really hope
