How to Make Crescent Rolls | Buttery Homemade Rolls From Scratch | Easy Recipe

Hey Cookaholics, Chef Kendra here and I’m gonna show you how to make crescent rolls at home. These delicious rolls are
great for Thanksgiving Christmas or any time really so lets you I head into the
kitchen and make this happen we have water an egg flour yeast sugar salt and
butter hey guys subscribe and while you’re at it hit that notification bell
so you don’t miss a thing first thing I’m gonna do is crack an egg alright we have our stand mixer with the
dough hook attached and all we’re going to do is add these ingredients to the
stand mixer we’re gonna start with our yeast our water our egg sugar and get this going on
medium I’m add butter and some of the flour
gotta dip it down bring it back up to medium now I’m going to add more of the flour so I’m basically adding the flour in
three batches back to medium now I’m scrape down the bowl and I’m
gonna get the rest of the flour in here and salt and get this going again i’ma let this go for about five minutes okay we get it out of the mixer it’s a
little sticky and get some bench flour on our hands and we’re just gonna knead
it a couple times get into a ball shape this over the top rub our little baby we
have a clean tea towel here well actually this is a bar towel
regardless kitchen towel tea towel bar towel we’re gonna cover that until it
doubles in size and that should take roughly about 45 minutes to our hour and
a half and depends on how warm your kitchen is okay guys look how big is
good okay the next step in all of this is to
roll this guy out okay guys we have a rolled out and over here we have our pan
a baking sheet with our parchment paper we have some butter here and we have a
cutter so first thing we’re going to do is get the butter on here and spread it
out evenly over the whole thing once that’s done and take a cutter and put them on this pan and twist them like
that all you have to do take a piece from the back side we have our present
pearls rolled up and now we’re going to cover them with a tea towel or bar tile
or a kitchen towel for another half hour okay guys it’s been around 30 minutes
look at that that’s what’s up all right we’re gonna get these in the oven we’re
gonna let them bake 15 to 20 minutes or until they’re golden brown on the top
and lightly brown on the bottom you want to keep eye on them because we do not
want to burn these things when these guys come out the oven you want to move
them to a cooling rack then you want to butter them right away
giving them all a little or not a buttery love I don’t think I need to say
this but these guys are best served fresh and hot right out of the oven you
can find a link to the recipe in the description box below
except Kendra is out peace
