In the UK we don't have the cooked ham option. I've just got a 6kg ham
ready for Christmas. Gonna boil it and then finish with mustard and honey.
Adding carrots, celery, onions, peppercorns to the boil mix and they really
do add to the flavour. Drain it then ready to glaze.
Pop in a hot oven and baste with honey mustard. Delicious.

Help me understand. You stated cook time is 1 1/2 hour. But the first hour
is 1 1/2 covered with foil. Then after the glaze another 1hr basting it
every 15 mins so total cook time is 2 1/2 hours. Other recipes are less
than 2 hrs. Will mine be dry and burnt? Please let me know. Thx
