Bugging Out | Chopped Junior | Food Network

Please open your
appetizer baskets. And you must use
steak tartare, Malabar spinach, Blooming Onion, and
barbecue-flavored larvae. [gasp] What? CONTESTANT (VOICEOVER):
Why’d they give us bugs? For $10,000, I won’t eat a bug. Never. 30 minutes on the clock,
and we’re starting it now. MARC MURPHY: Right off the
bat, the baskets opened up, and there were basically
little worms in there. SAM TALBOT: How is that
going to get incorporated? Does that get mixed into
the onions, or some sort of textural crunch at the end? LAILA ALI: I’m totally
fine with copping out and grinding those things down. So if you hear me, go
on and grind them down. That’s OK. [wrapper crackling] CONTESTANT: Ew! CONTESTANT (VOICEOVER):
I grab the larvae and I’m, like, I don’t
want to use this. So I’m like, OK, you know what? Deal with it. ANNOUNCER: All new “Chopped
Junior,” Tuesday night at 8:00.
