Beverage Air Direct Draw Beer Dispensers at Rapids Wholesale

hey guys Paul here again a trap is today I want to talk to you about the beverage air direct route draft beer dispensers okay you're going to find that these guys come available and a handful of sizes we start out with the 50 the DD 50 which is a a2 CAD unit this one here is the DD 58 it is a three keg unit that's fifty nine inches wide there's the DD 68 which is also a three keg unit technically a little bit more room inside though and that one is a three tower three Pole unit at 69 inches wide there's the DD 78 which is a four keg unit and then the DD 94 which is a full five keg unit okay I'm just going to give you a real quick overview of the feature set on them those models three of them are available actually in a club top two which would give you on the top of it then a sliding lid so you can store some frosty mugs condiments that kind of thing other available in two finishes we're looking at the black vinyl exterior finish and they're also available and then all stainless steel finish black vinyl we like that because it's going to help resist the appearance of fingerprints scratches and dirt do you want to note though on these units that the black vinyl covered exterior steel exteriors the black vinyl is on the sides the front and the doors the back side is exposed galvanized steel so if you are using this thing for service and you are having your customers approach from this side probably going to want to come up with some piece of marketing to kind of go over the back because it's not quite as pretty as what you see on the front of the unit that being said though make sure you cut out enough area on the small side of the to the well left of this to make sure you get proper ventilation ventilation occurs out of the the back side here on the left the left side here and then also right out of the front four set screws can be removed in this plate and you can is on the sides too to access that refrigeration and clean the condenser on all the units the top is all stainless steel and looking at the towers we see that these are towers made by tap right also a US company Oh beverage errors made in USA oh these are all stainless steel cap right towers and they are insulated and it's a standard 3 inch tower so the opening fort is equipped for 3-inch so if you had like say that DV 68 and you wanted to move into the smaller six barrel um you know tags instead of a full half barrel keg you can swap these out easily for like a tea tower for multiple faucets that kind of thing so we the number of faucets are going to kind of correspond then with what model you have and how many kegs to have expect out to obviously this being a three keg unit we got one tower with the single faucet one tower with two for a total of three you move up to a four keg while you're going to get two of the two faucet towers to get the four drip trays are also stainless steel and louvered and plumb so what happens here is any excess beer that comes off of a pole or anything like that it's going to channel through that actually it's routed over through some hosing into the moly end down and then on the very bottom there there's a little output nozzle that you could hook up a host or under your floor drain so that will just exit all on its own um cylinder door locks are going to be on each of the doors all using the same key the way these work is with the key inserted and turned you can put it in a locking position little piece is going to flip down then that will latch on to the middle of the door here to keep access from the inside if you can do then is if you want to secure it is you know open it take off the couplers close the door lock it up and then obviously when you go to pull there won't be any any beer coming out if you need to keep it out in public but need to make sure that nobody's dispensing all right let's move on to the insulation on the box so for the insulation we're using it's a CFC and HCFC free polycarbonate insulation polyurethane insulation excuse me so yeah so that's going to help make sure that this thing holds tap and stays and keeps the interior of it cool the really neat thing about beverage air is they they're favored by people who need to use a beer dispenser in a very warm environment because they test these things to be able to hold temperature up to as high as a hundred degrees Fahrenheit and still maintain tap it's a big deal you know especially for places around here so we're based out of Iowa it's July so we're looking at you know 90 mid to upper-90s outside and that's before you kick in all our humidity in the Hinda the heat indexes go way up but you could rest assured that a unit like this is going to hold tap very very well to maintain that temperature the doors do have a magnetic gasket that's going to keep that seal the mole Ian also does have that polyurethane insulation on it too so that's going to keep it nice and cold back to the doors the doors are self closing doors okay but there is a point at which when you open them if you hold it or just area it'll stay open to help you move kegs inside the box on the interior you're going to find that the insides of the doors the side from the top or a galvanized steel with the floor in the door sill being a heavy-duty stainless steel the you know withstand the impact of kegs being actually physically loaded up into them right you're going to get a gas manifold that's going to correspond to the number of faucets for each of the towers that you have so this being a three keg unit with three faucets there's a three three-way gas co2 gas manifold in there thermostatic control knob is going to be in there where you can adjust the temperature to whatever your final a serving temperature will be you'll notice that there's these hoses that are coming right out of the refrigeration unit and they hook into the top of the beer towers here so you're pumping the coldest air right to the top of the tower making sure the faucet and the beer line all the way into the box is very very cold so that's going to help prevent foaminess if this thing sits for a while without being poured because your cold air all the way throughout the beer lines are equipped already with the it's a wing nut on it that fits onto a standard keg coupler so that's supplied all the line you need to run from the gas manifold to your coupler then is absolutely supplied as well on the other side over here tucked up in the side you're going to see that there is a thermometer that comes with the two so you can monitor the temperature inside your unit at any given point so yeah that's supposed to what's going on on the interior here yes I can tell you a little bit about the listings on the unit so these things for the electrical 8-foot cord coming out of their regular household plug 115 volt so it carries the UL listings the c UL US listings and for sanitation it's NSF approved for packaged food goods warranties we have on these are a two year parts and labor warranty and it's a five-year warranty on the compressor and like I said these things are made right here in the US so that's pretty cool too yeah these are the beverage air directdraw beer dispensers and you know they're built for durability longevity and and to work and operate in warmer environments and that's why we like them here at Rapids and if you have any other questions about these or any other beer dispenser feel free to give us a buzz here at the shop or jump on our online chat you
